Wuffcast

We will be recording our first ever episode of Wuffcast this Friday. After we get a chance to edit it we will publish it to our podcast feed. You can find our podcast feed on our Tumblr Page at http://wuffcast.tumblr.com.

Hello everyone! We have finally obtained all of the equipment absolutely required for us to record! We are trying to record by the end of this week. We will let everyone know when we have a record date.

Wuffcast now has a third wuffy! Rather_Dashing is now part of Wuffcast, and you will hear him, as well as Kyle and myself in the first episode. We are currently working on the first episode, which will be mainly introductions and telling what we want to accomplish and plan to do with the show (the first episode does not have a set release date, it will probably just be released when it is done. After that we will set a schedule for future shows). If you have any ideas and suggestions, feel free to send them our way. Remember, we have a Twitter account, the LJ community, and an email address.

Got an interesting bit of news regarding getting Wuffcast out to the masses. By the incredible grace and generosity of NCH Software, there's potential for Wuffcast to be able to actually stream our broadcast live to listeners. Granted that might not mean much when we're a noobish little podcast, but there's great potential!

Using BroadWave, an audio streaming program by NCH Software, we would be able to allow a number of listeners to hear us broadcast live over the internet. With a link to the stream opened either in an internet browser (such as Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Safari) or a media player (such as iTunes, Windows Media Player or VLC Player), listeners would be able to "tune in" so to speak and listen to us, then get the podcast later to listen again at their leisure.

So yeah, not really something SUPER IMPORTANT at the moment, but just something I wanted to share with what few followers we have so far. XD So please, to our 2-5 followers on here, share this with all your fur-friends, we REALLY wanna get a fanbase going so we can spread our pure wuffy awesomeness with the whole fandom :P
